“ I’m writing this review because I truly believe this restaurant deserves it. My husband and I moved to Barstow three years ago, and eating out isn’t something we do very often because, unfortunately, many restaurants in town can be hit or miss. Some days the food is good, and other days it’s not. It often seems to depend on who’s cooking or what kind of day they’re having. Lola’s Kitchen has been completely different. Every single time we’ve come here, everything has been on point. You’re greeted with a warm smile, the restaurant is always clean, and the quality of the food is consistently excellent. The food is seasoned exactly the way it should be—I repeat, the food is very well seasoned! Every burrito, taco, and plate we’ve ordered has been prepared with care and cooked to perfection. The staff is phenomenal, and it shows that management and the owner truly care about providing a great experience for every customer. In my opinion, this is the #1 Mexican restaurant in Barstow. If you’re just passing through town or visiting and happen to read this review, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it. As far as Mexican food goes, I haven’t found another place in Barstow that compares. I want to personally applaud the owner, management, and the entire staff. Please continue maintaining the consistency and high standards you’ve established. It’s the reason we’ll keep coming back again and again. And yes—we’ll definitely be telling our friends and family! The Love’s ”
“ My first time here. The young man serving every one (Albert) was very helpful and friendly. I walked in and instantly felt the welcoming vibes. The food was excellent! And the lady who helps in the kitchen… I think that’s Ms. Lola. Loved her too! . Thank you for the Great experience.. I’ll be back in Barstow in a few months . I’ll be back to visit. ”
“ Maybe the best chilaquiles I’ve had, and paired with very friendly staff. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Barstow. ”
“ Food was very good decent proportions. Very tasty and fresh ingredients ”
“ We stopped here on our way from and to Oklahoma (our home) let me say everything about this small family owned restaurant was amazing! Clean bathrooms, clean restaurants, very great exceptional service and the food was top tier! I ordered a California Burrito, carne asada , sope and tacos! Everything was great! Definitely a great first stop coming into and out of California! ”
